ANGELA SIDWELL

Angela Sidwell takes inspiration from her immediate landscape. “Stepping out from my front door and then across nearby fields; it is the criss-cross of horse tracks, the secretive hedges, chance encounters and signs of life living besides, under and over our own – a sense of a shared time and space, this is at the heart of my work”.

Working with stoneware and porcelain paperclay, Angela  respond to these encounters, friendships, imaginings, through ceramic sculpture. Her fragmented forms aim to invite the viewer in, and consider their own relationship with the natural world.
